Bundesliga Clubs Circle Ducksch: Birmingham Star's Next Move

Ducksch delivered 10 goals and 2 assists in 33 Championship appearances for Birmingham City in 2025/26. His strike rate of 0. 30 goals per game placed him among the division's most efficient finishers.

Bundesliga scouts have tracked Ducksch's resurgence, valuing his experience and poacher's instinct. German clubs view the 32-year-old as a low-risk, high-reward option to bolster attacking depth. His familiarity with German football reduces adaptation risk.

Birmingham now faces a strategic decision: cash in on their star or build around him for another promotion push. The club's financial position may force a sale if a suitable bid arrives. Ducksch's age limits his long-term value, making this summer the optimal selling window.

Power Move: Expect a Bundesliga side to trigger Ducksch's release clause before August. Birmingham must reinvest wisely or risk stagnating in the Championship. Ducksch's move could ignite a chain reaction in the January transfer market.
