Retail chain Transmart has confirmed that its Full Day Sale will return on Sunday, 1 November, at all of its stores across Indonesia. The discount event, routinely held at the start of each month, offers price cuts of up to 50 percent on a number of featured product categories, from daily necessities, electronics, fashion, and furniture to bicycles and electric bicycles.
Beyond the main discount, Transmart offers an extra 20 percent off for customers who spend at least Rp300 thousand and pay using Allo Prime, Allo Paylater, a Bank Mega credit card, or a Bank Mega Syariah card. Instant Bank Mega credit card issuance is also available at every store to make it easier for customers who do not yet hold the card.
For those who do not yet have an Allo Prime account, customers can download the Allo Bank app via PlayStore or AppStore and upgrade their account. This step is key to accessing the additional discount on offer.
The promo runs for one day only, from store opening until 22.00 local time. Consumers are encouraged to make the most of the moment, especially those who have received their early-month salary. Transmart stresses the importance of using the recommended payment methods so that all promos can be enjoyed.
For context, the Full Day Sale is Transmart's strategy to boost weekend visits and sales. By teaming up with financial products from Allo Bank and Bank Mega, the company not only draws shopping interest but also expands the user base of its digital services. For consumers, the event is an opportunity to shop for household needs and electronics at more affordable prices.
Going forward, similar promotional models are expected to be repeated by modern retailers to sustain people's purchasing power amid economic pressure. The question is how effective such large-scale discounts are in driving sustainable retail sales growth.
