- Posisi Kajari Jakarta Pusat dan Jakarta Selatan ikut dirombak, dua titik yang kerap menangani perkara korupsi bernilai besar dan berdampak politik.
- Rotasi ini menjadi indikator awal bagaimana lini pimpinan Kejagung disiapkan menghadapi sisa periode pemerintahan dan tekanan publik atas penegakan hukum.

Attorney General Sanitiar Burhanuddin reshuffled 16 structural positions within the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Indonesia through Attorney General Decree Number Kep-IV-10422/C/09/2026, signed on 22 September 2026. Ten of them are district prosecutor (Kajari) posts, positions that directly deal with case handling at the regency and city level.
The Head of the Legal Information Center at the Attorney General's Office, Anang Supriatna, confirmed the rotation when contacted on Thursday (24/9/2026). The decree was signed by Deputy Attorney General for Development Hendro Dewanto on behalf of the Attorney General.
Notably, two Kajari seats in the DKI Jakarta area also changed hands. Oktafian Syah Effendi, previously the Intelligence Assistant at the Riau High Prosecutor's Office, now fills the position of Head of the Central Jakarta District Prosecutor's Office. Meanwhile, the South Jakarta Kajari position left by Marcelo Bellah was filled through an internal track, with Bellah moved to the Center for Asset Management, Tracing, and Forfeiture at the Attorney General's Office Asset Recovery Agency.
The rotation pattern this time is not merely a routine mutation. Several names moved from the regions to the center and vice versa, indicating an effort to refresh as well as fill seats that were previously vacant or held by acting officials. La Kanna, for instance, was pulled from the Execution and Examination Subdirectorate at Directorate E of the Deputy Attorney General for General Crimes to lead the Palopo District Prosecutor's Office. Conversely, Antonius Despinola left the Central Jakarta Kajari seat to return to a structural position at the center.
Turnover of officials within the prosecutor's office is indeed common near the end of the budget year. However, the scale and composition of this rotation are seen by several observers as a signal of internal consolidation. "Rotations in the prosecutor's office always have two dimensions: managerial and political. When the Kajari positions in Jakarta are replaced, the public has the right to ask whether this is purely a refresh or part of arranging case-handling strategy," said a legal policy analyst who asked not to be named.
For businesses and investors, changes in leadership at district prosecutor's offices have a direct impact on the rhythm of handling cases involving corporations. The Central Jakarta and South Jakarta District Prosecutor's Offices have long handled a number of major cases, from alleged corruption in the financial sector to corporate asset disputes. A change of Kajari can affect handling priorities, including the speed of investigation and the transfer of case files to court.
In addition, the position of Head of the Asset Management Division at the Asset Recovery Agency is now filled by Marcelo Bellah, who previously led the South Jakarta Kajari. This placement is relevant given that the Asset Recovery Agency plays an important role in managing confiscated goods and proceeds seized from corruption and money laundering cases โ an issue that continues to draw public attention and that of Indonesia's international partners.
From a governance perspective, this rotation also touched the Riau High Prosecutor's Office. Fitriansyah Akbar, who previously led the Banjarnegara District Prosecutor's Office, was appointed as Intelligence Assistant at the Riau High Prosecutor's Office, replacing Oktafian, who was moved to Jakarta. Meanwhile, the Banjarnegara Kajari seat was filled by Sulasman, who previously served at the Sambas District Prosecutor's Office. Efrivel, who left the Southwest Maluku District Prosecutor's Office, now fills the position in Sambas. Fithrah, an official at the Center for Asset Management, Tracing, and Forfeiture, was entrusted to lead the Bukittinggi District Prosecutor's Office.
The question is whether this rotation will be followed by similar overhauls at higher echelon levels, including among the Deputy Attorneys General. The public and market players are certainly waiting to see whether this refresh leads to faster handling of major cases or instead slows down ongoing legal processes. What is clear is that this new composition will be the first test for the newly inaugurated officials in meeting public expectations for transparent and accountable law enforcement.
