- Ducati dinilai perlu segera menerapkan team order untuk memperkuat peluang Marc meraih gelar juara dunia.
- Persaingan gelar masih terbuka lebar dengan Jorge Martin memimpin klasemen hanya dua poin atas Marc Marquez.

Alex Marquez believes his brother, Marc Marquez, will face a tough test in the hunt for the 2025 MotoGP world title. According to him, Aprilia is predicted to be dominant at a number of upcoming circuits, especially Phillip Island, Qatar, and Portimao. The statement came after Marc finished only sixth at the Indonesian Grand Prix, 10.7 seconds behind Marco Bezzecchi, while Aprilia managed to sweep the top four positions for the first time in history.
The result at Mandalika confirmed that Ducati's dominance is no longer absolute. Aprilia, based in Noale, now has four competitive riders and is starting to consider team orders to strengthen Jorge Martin's chances of taking the title. Martin himself currently leads the standings by two points over Marc Marquez after both collected 22 points from the Indonesian weekend.
Alex Marquez, who rides for Gresini Racing, highlighted the construction of the rear tire as the main factor behind Ducati's difficulties at Mandalika. He said the reinforced tire casing—though not as strong as the one used in Austria or Japan—made the bike's performance hard to keep consistent. "We really struggled with this tire casing. I was hoping for better on Sunday with the medium tire, but it was the opposite," he said. He also added that the rear tire suffered a drastic drop in performance, and that the casing will not be used again for the rest of the season.
Even so, Alex believes Marc can still minimize the losses at circuits that have historically been unfavorable. "He saved this weekend. I wouldn't call it a win, but he got through a difficult circuit well, a draw, 22 points each," he said. He also reminded that the title fight is still wide open, especially with circuits that suit Aprilia coming up. "Marc has to do a juggling act," he added, referring to the ability to stay consistent under pressure.
Alex also highlighted the importance of team strategy. According to him, Aprilia has moved quickly by uniting its riders' vision in pursuit of the title. "At Aprilia they are already clear: they want the title and they talk to all the riders. I think the time will come for Ducati to do the same, but it's still too early. When the fight heats up, we will evaluate every Sunday," he said.
For MotoGP fans in Indonesia, Alex's statement is a signal that the title race will not run smoothly for Ducati. Mandalika, which hosted the Indonesian GP, has proven that Aprilia can be competitive on a track that demands tire management and smart strategy. Going forward, the rounds in Australia, Qatar, and Portugal will be the real test for Marc Marquez and the Ducati team in maintaining momentum.
With only a few races left, the big question: will Ducati soon apply team orders to support Marc, or will Aprilia instead grow more solid with its four riders? The answer will become clear in the coming weeks, and every point will matter.
