Persita Tangerang will host Isenmulang FC in the ninth week of the 2026/2027 BRI Super League at Banten International Stadium (BIS), Serang, on Saturday (7/11/2026) at 19.00 WIB. The duel brings together two teams with contrasting fortunes: the hosts remain formidable and unbeaten, while the visitors are fighting hard to climb out of the relegation zone.
Persita have so far collected four wins and three draws, gathering 15 points and sitting sixth in the provisional standings. That record makes them the only side yet to suffer a defeat this season. Conversely, Isenmulang FC are languishing in 17th place with just three points from one win, two draws, and five losses.
Persita coach Carlos Pena has turned the team into an efficient goal-scoring machine. In their last match, he led his charges to a 5-1 demolition of Persik in Kediri, a result that earned him the best coach award for week eight. This consistency is valuable capital for continuing the positive trend.
Supporter backing will be an additional factor for Persita. The Pendekar Cisadane are known for a fanatical fan base that always fills the stadium, creating an intimidating atmosphere for visiting teams. Moreover, the hosts' squad quality is superior on paper with names such as Hokky Caraka, Pablo Ganet, Luquinhas, Tyronne, Dion Markx, Mario Jardel, and goalkeeper Igor Rodrigues.
Nevertheless, Isenmulang FC are not without a chance. Before being thrashed 0-4 by Persib Bandung in their last match, Mundari Karya's men had shown signs of revival by beating Persijap Jepara and holding Java United FC to a 1-1 draw. A thorough evaluation is underway to improve performance ahead of the trip to Serang.
"We must play with discipline and make the most of every opportunity. Persita are a strong team, but we come to spring a surprise," said an internal Isenmulang source, describing the team's determination.
Mundari Karya is predicted to continue relying on key players such as Kenji Nishioka, Rafael Ribeiro, Leonardo Silva Lelis, Douglas Cruz, Vinicius Baiano, and new goalkeeper Igor Rodrigues. The key to Isenmulang's game lies in composure, militancy, and the ability to maximize counterattacks. If they can play tidily and exploit gaps, it is not impossible for them to steal points.
For Persita, a win is not only about three points but also about preserving the unbeaten status that spurs their spirit. Meanwhile, Isenmulang are striving hard to avoid a sixth defeat that would push them further from the safe zone. The duel between two teams of differing fortunes is predicted to be fierce, with Persita remaining the favorites.
The big question: can Isenmulang defy the predictions, or will Persita keep marching on without stopping? The answer will unfold on the green pitch of BIS.
