- Calvin Verdonk tampil 36 menit sebagai pengganti saat Lille ditahan Brest 1-1, mencatat akurasi umpan sempurna.
- Nathan Tjoe-A-On kembali menjadi starter dan bermain penuh 90 menit, meski Willem II kalah 2-3 dari Sparta Rotterdam.
- Elkan Baggott belum diturunkan Millwall karena masih dalam pemulihan setelah FIFA ASEAN Cup, memberi sinyal pentingnya rotasi pemain abroad.

Calvin Verdonk and Nathan Tjoe-A-On again showed their quality in European competitions, while Elkan Baggott still has to wait on the bench. In matches played last weekend, the two Indonesian national team players got playing time with their respective clubs, though the final results did not always go their teams' way.
Verdonk, who plays for Lille in Ligue 1, came on as a substitute in the 54th minute as his team hosted Brest. Despite playing only 36 minutes, he recorded a passing accuracy of 100 percent, two defensive actions, one block, one interception, and one ball recovery. His performance earned a rating of 6.2 from match observers. Lille themselves had to settle for a 1-1 draw after Olivier Giroud equalized from the penalty spot in the 64th minute, cancelling out Mama Balde's early goal.
Meanwhile, Nathan Tjoe-A-On played the full 90 minutes for Willem II in the match against Sparta Rotterdam in the Eredivisie. Although Willem II lost 2-3, Nathan still put in a solid performance with a rating of 6.8. He recorded 14 defensive actions, three tackles, six clearances, five interceptions, and two ball recoveries. His passing accuracy reached 81 percent, and he was also active in helping the attack with 76 touches of the ball and four passes into the opponent's defensive area.
On the other hand, Elkan Baggott again had to sit on the bench when Millwall hosted Lincoln City in the Championship. The match ended in a 2-2 draw, and Baggott did not get a chance to play. He had also not been fielded when Millwall lost to Swansea. This situation is thought to be because he is still in the recovery process after playing for the Indonesian national team at the FIFA ASEAN Cup.
This development reflects how Indonesian players in Europe face the challenge of playing time that is not always stable. Verdonk and Nathan showed that they can contribute despite different situations—Verdonk as an effective substitute, Nathan as a mainstay in the Willem II back line. Meanwhile, Baggott needs to work hard to reclaim his place in the Millwall squad.
For the Indonesian national team, the consistency of playing time for overseas players is valuable capital ahead of the next international agenda. The national team coach will certainly hope that the players remain in prime condition and continue to earn the trust of their respective clubs. However, Baggott's situation is a reminder that competition in Europe is very tight and rotation is normal.
Going forward, it will be interesting to see whether Verdonk can break into Lille's starting XI, whether Nathan can lead Willem II to bounce back from defeat, and whether Baggott will soon get a chance to play. Their performances not only affect their individual careers, but also the strength of the Garuda squad on the international stage.
