Former couple Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt drew attention again after they were seen together celebrating Halloween with their daughter, Scottie, who was born on 12 December 2025. In an Instagram post on Sunday (1/11/2026), Elsie shared a family photo showing the three of them dressed as characters from The Sopranos. The moment drew public attention because it came shortly after the two decided to separate.
In the photo, Scottie sits in a red wagon dressed as Tony Soprano, complete with a bathrobe and a toy cigar. The wagon's backdrop is decorated with the neon sign "Bada Bing!". Pete (32) plays Paulie "Walnuts" Gualtieri in a black leather jacket with his sideburns dyed gray, while Elsie (30) appears as Christopher Moltisanti in a maroon tracksuit jacket and a neck brace. Elsie captioned it briefly, "Smells like Halloween."
The togetherness is a positive signal for the public following their relationship. The couple reportedly split in May 2026, only five months after Scottie's birth. But in July 2026, the two reached a co-parenting agreement. In a joint statement to Page Six, Pete and Elsie stressed that their child's well-being is the top priority and that they are committed to working together to provide love from both parents.
Since the split, Pete has been known to spend time actively with his daughter, including taking her for walks in a stroller in a New York City park. A Page Six source said that although the romantic relationship has ended, Pete still wants Elsie to be happy and in good condition. "They may have split, but all he wants is for Elsie to be happy and in a good place," the source said.
Elsie and Pete first introduced Scottie to the public through a series of family photos on Instagram shortly after the birth. Elsie wrote, "My best work, I am truly filled with love, gratitude, and disbelief." Pete added a brief comment, "Wu tang forever." Both chose not to show Scottie's face publicly, covering it with a white heart emoji in every photo.
"They tried to make it work, but there were various pressures, including having a baby together as two people who didn't know each other very well," a source told Us Weekly.
Still, the source added that both are trying to adjust their schedules for the baby. "They are both trying to make it work and have made adjustments to their schedules for the baby," the source said.
Pete Davidson's love life has often been a topic of conversation, but his role as a father appears to be a new focus. The public now waits to see whether this co-parenting arrangement will continue to run harmoniously, especially as Scottie grows up. This Halloween moment at least offers a picture that the former couple can set aside their differences for their child's happiness.
