Hollywood actress Megan Fox has officially launched a paid content page on the platform Subs.com, a collaboration with Tim Stokely, one of the founders of OnlyFans. The move is not merely a career expansion in the digital world, but a strategic effort to take full control over content distribution and her fan base.
Fox, now 40 years old, will offer a range of exclusive materialโfrom videos and photos to posts that will not be found on other platforms. She is not only acting as a creator but also holds an ownership stake in Subs.com alongside Stokely. The partnership positions Fox as one of the first mainstream celebrities to invest both capital and reputation in creator-economy infrastructure.
In her official statement, Fox highlighted the importance of women owning the platform, the audience, and their own image. "Women have spent decades being told that visibility is power, while someone else owns the platform, the audience, or the image. I'm interested in what happens when women own all three," she said, as quoted in a press release.
Stokely added that Fox understands this industry shift from a unique perspective. According to him, Fox became globally famous before talents had the tools to control their distribution and audiences. "Megan isn't just launching a page on Subs. She has a seat at the table and is helping us build the platform," Stokely said.

Fox's decision also reflects her personal journey in coming to terms with fame. She once admitted to rejecting the image attached to her for years. In an interview with WWD, Fox revealed that she had avoided the fashion world and preferred to dress simply. Now, she is going through an experimental phase in her style, including wearing oversize clothing or dressing more revealingly as she pleases.
Fox's move into the paid content platform business can be seen as part of a new wave of celebrities changing how they interact with fans. Instead of relying on studios or agencies, they are building their own ecosystems that allow for direct monetization. This model has proven successful among digital creators, but the involvement of established celebrities like Fox marks a new chapter in the evolution of the entertainment industry.
For the Indonesian market, this development could reflect how local public figures are beginning to look at subscription platforms to reach fans more personally. With a large digital population and high social media adoption, Indonesia has the potential to be a promising market for such platforms, although challenges related to regulation and digital payments still need to be addressed.
Going forward, the question is whether the co-ownership model between celebrities and platforms will become a new standard, or merely an exclusive strategy for a handful of stars. If successful, Fox and Stokely may inspire more celebrities to be not just the face, but also the owners of the infrastructure where they work.
