Six weeks after the birth of their first daughter, Dylan Sprouse revealed he is more exhausted than usual, while his wife, Barbara Palvin, looked stunning at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. The 34-year-old actor said he was amazed by his wife's energy, which remained at its peak despite having just given birth.
In an interview with E! News at the event, Dylan—known for the series The Suite Life of Zack and Cody—said, "I don't know where she gets that energy. I'm always tired, and of course having a new baby makes me even more tired. Barbara got up and is in super mom mode, now she's even walking the runway. I'm like, 'Where does it come from?'"
Dylan also called his wife extraordinary. "I'm so proud of my wife," he said. He even reflected that "some people are just better than others."
Despite the fatigue, Dylan said he enjoys the small moments of being a new father. "Sylvie's vision is starting to clear, and she's starting to recognize faces. She smiles and laughs at my jokes, that's every father's dream," he said.
But there is another, unexpected side. Asked about the biggest surprise of parenthood, Dylan joked, "How I'm now desensitized to bodily fluids. It's just normal, you know, having a baby."
The couple also shared their first photo as a family of three on Instagram. In the photo, Dylan is seen holding Sylvie while watching baseball, and all three are wearing Los Angeles Dodgers jerseys. The caption reads, "We took 'Labor Day' literally this year," which seems to hint at Sylvie's birth date.
A day later, Dylan revealed his daughter's name on the Wildmen podcast he hosts with Brendan Columbus. "There are moments when I look at Sylvie and think, 'This is the coolest thing ever.' She looks at me, her eyes open, and she smiles—it's the most adorable thing," he said.
However, he also admitted that caring for a baby is not always beautiful. "Ninety percent of the time, it feels like having a pet monkey. She chirps, makes sounds, poops, farts, burps, and hiccups. Like a little animal full of mess," he joked.
The couple's story has drawn attention because both are known as celebrities who are fairly private about their personal lives. Still, they seem happy in their new role as parents.
