Audrina Patridge, star of the reality show The Hills, has ended her romantic relationship with country singer Michael Ray after two years together. The news was confirmed directly by Patridge to People magazine, which stated that the two decided to part ways in July 2025. Now, the 41-year-old woman admits she is still adjusting to her single status and is in no rush to start a new relationship.
To People, Patridge revealed that she does not want to rush and most likely will not try online dating apps. “I'm learning this again. I think the best person you'll meet might be through mutual friends or a setup,” she said. She added, “Get out, meet in person. I'm not someone who can stay online for long.”
Although she did not detail the cause of the split, Patridge stressed that she is still trying to understand the criteria for the partner she wants. “The important thing is knowing that someone has a good heart, comes from a good family, and has good morals and values. And you have to agree on those things, because if you don't, your lifestyles will be at odds,” she explained.
The news of the split surprised the public, especially since in May 2025 Patridge had expressed her openness to marrying Ray. At the time, she said the two already knew what not to do and what they wanted, given that both had been through marriage and divorce. Patridge and Ray were first seen together in April 2024, then confirmed their relationship through an Instagram post in July 2024. In that post, Patridge shared a photo of them hugging while writing a quote from Ray's song “Hold”: “There are many things in life worth letting go, but the ones that mean the most you have to hold on to.”
Previously, Patridge was married to Corey Bohan, the father of her child, Kirra, who is now 10 years old. Their marriage lasted from 2016 to 2018. Despite a failed marriage and having just ended a relationship with Ray, Patridge is not closing the door on finding true love and marrying again in the future—as long as she finds “the right person and if our hearts and lifestyles align.”
