Several PlayStation 5 owners around the world have reported the appearance of a mysterious tag reading "Includes Wallet Credit" on the PlayStation Store pages for a number of game titles. After completing a purchase, a $10 balance was reported to land in their PlayStation Wallet. What caused a stir: Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has not announced this program at all, has not published terms and conditions, and has not even confirmed its existence.
According to circulating reports, the credit is not given as a discount at checkout, but added after the transaction is completed at full price. A Reddit user said they saw this offer on the Standard and Eclipse editions of the game The Blood of Dawnwalker, with the note "Offer ends 9/29/2026 7:59PM". The same user said the $10 balance appeared in their digital wallet as soon as the purchase was complete, as quoted by Eurogamer.
The list of games mentioned may not be complete. Notably, the promotion does not appear on all accounts or regions. Insider Gaming reported it could not reproduce a similar feature on consoles in Brazil, India, or the UK. This has raised speculation that the program is a limited test targeting a specific user segment, possibly based on purchase history or geographic location.

For the Indonesian market, this news is worth watching. PlayStation users in the country are one of the largest gaming communities in Southeast Asia, yet they often fall outside the radar of Sony's global tests.
