In their previous meeting, Augare—a Montana boxer nicknamed "Eagle Boy"—stopped Gotti III with a surprising third-round TKO win. Now Gotti III, who hails from Oyster Bay, New York, gets a chance to avenge that defeat in a six-round light heavyweight bout. CES Boxing promoter and founder Jimmy Burchfield Sr. sees the fight as a representation of CES Boxing's identity, which prioritizes competitive matchups and a stage for young Connecticut boxers.
