The core problem
Contemporary researchers, analyzing the paradigms of global migration processes, turn their attention to the creative legacy of Fyodor Stepun โ a representative of the Russian cultural emigration, a religious philosopher, sociologist, and essayist who in his narratives reflected the migration experience of an entire generation. The relevance of Stepun's philosophical research is due to his analysis of the existential crisis of the migrating person, which resonates with today's realities. Stepun's thought configurations from disciplines adjacent to philosophy โ political science, anthropology, sociology, and psychology โ are firmly woven into his literary works, whose concepts strengthen the platform of his historiosophical convictions. Within the framework of the article, the author foregrounds a philosophical analysis of the causes of the existential crisis of migrants, as well as the substantive factors predicting the behavior of migrants in the struggle to preserve national identity in a foreign world.

The analysis aims to identify the causes of the existential crisis and the factors determining the behavior of migrants in a foreign cultural environment.
