- Momen ini berpotensi mendongkrak rating SNL dan memperkuat posisi Swift sebagai ikon budaya pop.

Taylor Swift once again grabbed public attention with an unexpected appearance on the Saturday Night Live (SNL) stage on Saturday night (3/10/2026). The 36-year-old pop star emerged in the middle of the opening monologue delivered by her friend Dakota Johnson, who was trusted as the guest host that night.
Swift's appearance was not without reason. Dakota, known for having dated a number of musicians, was discussing her love life on stage. She mentioned having friends who do not judge her choice of partners. Then she introduced someone she called a "literal therapist" โ and Swift stepped out from backstage.
"I'm actually not your therapist," Swift said, greeted by laughter from the audience. "You just come to my house once a week with an empty bottle of wine and ask if I want a little. You lie on my couch, overshare, and every once in a while I just say, 'Oh my God, that's crazy.'"
The joke continued with Swift admitting she sent Dakota home with a rehydration drink and a security escort. Dakota also touched on Swift's husband, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, when she mentioned that her dating experiences had taken her to "England, part of Ireland, and Cleveland" โ prompting cheers from Swift.
Their collaboration on the "Patient Zero" music video was an important backdrop to this appearance. Dakota played a woman in an abusive relationship, and she said she thoroughly enjoyed the filming process. In an interview with Extra, she praised Swift as a "true visionary" and called their work together something special.
"We're very close, and being able to work with your friend and have it turn out well, and feed each other creatively ... She's a great director and a true visionary," Dakota said.
On a separate occasion, Dakota also revealed that she and Swift can talk about "anything on this planet." Speaking to BBC Radio 1, she named true crime as one of their favorite topics. "She's a genius. When it comes to world-building, her head is like an intricate wonderland," she said.
For the entertainment industry, a Swift appearance on SNL is always a magnet. The show's ratings often spike when big names like Swift are involved, even if only for a cameo. It also reinforces Swift's position as a pop culture icon capable of bridging music, television, and social media in a single moment.
On the other hand, the friendship between Swift and Dakota shows a new pattern in Hollywood: mutually beneficial cross-disciplinary collaboration. Dakota gains exposure from Swift's massive fan base, while Swift strengthens her narrative as a creator who supports her friends behind the scenes.
Looking ahead, will this brief appearance be the start of a bigger collaborative project? Or just a one-night entertainment that fans will remember? Either way, the SNL stage once again proves that even the smallest surprise from Swift always has an impact.
