The surprise album titled The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore, released last week, not only satisfied fans' hunger but also immediately set two daily records on the platform. According to data compiled by Variety, the song Patient Zero became the solo track by a female artist with the most plays in a single day throughout 2026, while Swift herself logged the highest total daily streams among all female artists in the same year.

"We just wanted to reflect and be grateful for that moment, but there was a studio there and we did what we usually do when we feel anything: we wrote songs," she said.
