Dakota Johnson Reveals Working Dynamics with Taylor Swift in Patient Zero Video

Dakota Johnson recently shared her experience working with her close friend, Taylor Swift, in the music video for Swift's latest song, "Patient Zero". In an interview with Fan Girl Nation, Johnson said she enjoyed the moment when Swift gave direction on set.

"Taylor and I have been friends for a very long time and we are very close. Usually, I would advise against working with a friend. But we worked very well together," Johnson said. She added that working with a friend is the most fun thing in the world because they respect each other's creative ideas.

The "Patient Zero" music video features Johnson and Hollywood actor Colin Farrell, who together explore a mysterious modern house. A teaser clip that has been released shows a scene in which Swift comforts Johnson at the side of a grave, as if Johnson were mourning the loss of a daughter. The full video will premiere at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) next Sunday.

The collaboration also highlights how the global entertainment industry increasingly combines talent from various backgrounds. The album will feature four new songs: "Patient Zero", "Cleveland!", "Pink Clouding", and "Babylon". In an Instagram post, Swift expressed her gratitude to fans for the previous album's achievement in setting the biggest first week in history.

"About a year ago, you did something truly unimaginable. Something that truly left me in awe... You gave The Life of a Showgirl the biggest first week for an album in history. I went to Sweden to celebrate with Max and Shellback, two of my collaborators on this album. We just wanted to reflect and be grateful for the moment we experienced, but there was a studio there and we did what we usually do when we feel anything: we wrote more songs. I hope you like them, because those songs were born from pure gratitude for your joy and celebration of the album we made," Swift wrote.

With the album and music video release coinciding with a prestigious awards event, Swift's move is predicted to further strengthen her position as one of the global pop icons.
