For mesh solutions, the eero Pro 7 is a favorite in the mid-range class because it supports Wi-Fi 7, Thread, Matter, and Zigbee, and integrates with Amazon Alexa. Unfortunately, its security and parental control features require an eero+ subscription at $9.99 per month. A budget-friendly alternative is the eero 6+, a three-unit Wi-Fi 6 mesh system with an affordable price, wide coverage of up to 4,500 square feet, and the ability to serve as a smart home hub thanks to its Zigbee radio.
